UM’s Patricio Shilton and Lucia Parodi have won the local Media Lions Competition in Argentina. The two took the prize for demonstrating strategic thinking and innovation in their approach to the brief on the Hand in Action Foundation.

The prize? Patricio and Lucia will travel to France to represent Argentina in the “Young Media Lions” competition at the 2014 Cannes Lions in June.

Organized by the Argentina Chamber of Media Agencies for the seventh consecutive year, this year’s Argentina Media Lions Competition presented a record of 70 registered pairs.  The jury was composed of Agency Directors from CAAM, Film Suez, the Argentina Chamber of Advertisers (CAA), and the Hands in Action Foundation.

This year’s competition was sponsored by Atacama, Film Suez, EM Services Advertising, Ibope – Monitor, The Nation, VPM, Radio Mitre, CBS Outdoor, Power Soccer, Turner, UADE, Telefe, Girolamo, Clarin, and Wall Street Radio 10.
