UM continued to accumulate Effie award wins with UM Ecuador, UM Chile and UM Hungary all celebrating wins while UM Argentina taking home two awards at the Buenos Announcement Awards 2013.
UM Ecuador took home a silver Effie in the Products for Mass Consumption category for their “GM 57” campaign for Megamxi.
Meanwhile, UM Chile also scored a silver Effie win for their work on the “Cor Garnier Nutrisse Intense” launch campaign for L’Oreal. UM Chile was awarded in the Product Release category.
And to add to the UM Effie haul, UM Hungary snagged a bronze with their “Dr. Oetker Paula pudding” launch campaign in the Food category.
Effies are awarded for ideas that work – big ideas that originate strategies that achieve real results. To qualify, a campaign needs to incorporate a strategy based on remarkable insight, outstanding creativity, and show market results that prove its success. The Effies are now organized into thirty-four countries in Europe, Asia, North America and South America.
While Ecuador, Chile and Hungary were enjoying success at the Effies, UM Argentina picked up two prestigious awards at the Buenos Announcement Awards 2013.
UM Argentina took home a gold in the Goods & Services For Export for their work on Quilmes Beer along with the Most Original Ad Awards for their “Puntos de Encuentro” (“Meeting Places”) campaign, again for Quilmes Beer.
The Buenos Announcement Awards are hosted by the Federation of Argentinian Advertisers and are bestowed upon ads that are considered to be “the voice of consumers,” noted for their achievement in persuasion, impact and brand building.
