UM Russia has added Lenovo to its client list, following a local pitch.
With dual headquarters in Beijing and North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park, Lenovo has recently overtaken the Hewlett-Packard Co. as the world’s largest producer of personal computers. The multinational technology firm has been beefing up its offerings of smartphones and tablets and thanks to rapid sales growth, it became the world’s fourth-largest producer of these product lines in the last quarter, according to IDC.
Looking to further growth, the company is considering acquisition deals with struggling smartphone producers BlackBerry Ltd. and HTC Corp. Clearly, this is an account to watch.
Lenovo maintains operations in more than 60 countries and sells its products globally in approximately 160.
