UM Indonesia celebrated three new business wins within the last month– Unicef DRTV Project, Hutchison Telecom, and Bloomberg TV.
The office won the telecommunication company Hutchison Telecom after a three-way pitch, against incumbents Maxus, Activate and MediaOne. The Telco aims to differentiate itself by offering advanced voice and data services, while targeting the prepaid mass market through an extensive network of distributors.
UM Indonesia also won the Unicef DRTV Project, a global charity organization. This is Unicef’s first foray into Indonesia, which uses YouTube to promote its messages worldwide via its direct response TV (DRTV) initiative.
Lastly, UM Indonesia was awarded the Bloomberg TV account without a pitch. The company is planning to start re-broadcasting in the country and chose UM based on its strong in-market reputation.
UM Indonesia will perform media planning and buying duties for all the three new clients.
