UM Poland was named Media Agency of the Year for 2013 at the Impactor marketing awards.
Now in its 16th year, Impactor Poland is the nation’s oldest and most esteemed media competition focusing on advertising and marketing work in the region. The awards gala took place at the Polonia Palace Hotel in Warsaw on April 23.
UM Poland Vice President, Sofia Sanejko, stated that the award spoke to the symbiotic planning efforts of the Polish team. “This award recognizes both the strength of our business model and our team management philosophy. We believe in a culture of shared responsibility among our employees, for both their individual performance and the results we deliver for our clients. We are incredibly honored and look forward to raising the bar even further in the future.”
UM Poland was also acknowledged for its exceptional social responsibility. Giving back to the local community is an integral goal for the agency, with the Poland office taking home the prize for CSR Project of the Year for its “Happiness Program.” An initiative benefitting an orphanage in Warsaw, the campaign not only solicited donations for the orphanage, but it implemented a series of programs and experiences for its students, including visits to football matches, radio stations, various media outlets and even access to film sets.
The awards were accepted by Monika Wójcicka, who heads UM Entertainment, and Raphael Janek, the Business Consultancy Director.
Congratulations Poland!
