Following a competitive review, UM has won the account for McCain Foods Canada.

Work on the account began in July and was awarded to UM Canada based on a strategic digital approach.

“McCain appreciated our overall strategic approach, as well as our clear expertise in connecting through digital media,” says Shelley Smit, President of UM Canada. “Our VP of digital, Matt Ramella, joined us in August of last year and has truly bolstered our digital offering.”

McCain Foods Limited is an international leader in the frozen food industry, employing 19,000 people and operating 50 production facilities on six continents. A privately owned Canadian company, McCain generates annual sales in excess of CDN$6 billion. The company’s products can be found in thousands of restaurants and supermarket freezers in more than 160 countries around the world.
