The Ad Council, a non-profit organization and the largest producer of national public service campaigns in the U.S., has elected UM U.S. President Kasha Cacy to its Board of Directors.
The Ad Council Board of Directors is comprised of leading executives from numerous industries, among others, media companies, creative and digital agencies, technology and corporate advertisers. The board provides guidance on creative strategy, media placement and outreach, and helps secure funding for the organization’s operations.
Drawing on over 20 years of experience and her deep understanding of today’s media landscape, Kasha will help further the Ad Council’s goals of engaging millennials and developing more strategic partnerships on behalf of causes.
The Ad Council has a rich history of marshalling volunteer talent from the advertising and media industries to deliver critical messaging to the American public. Having produced literally thousands of PSA campaigns addressing the most pressing social issues of the day, the Ad Council has affected, and continues to affect, tremendous positive change by raising awareness, inspiring action and saving lives. Last year, Ad Council campaigns received more than $1.6 billion in donated media.
