UM Croatia has secured four substantial account wins to close out the year, the highlight being Arena Centar shopping, business and sports center for the second straight time since 2011.
Opened in 2008, Arena Centar is a regional shopping mall located in Novi Zagreb, a residential expansion area of Zagreb north of the river Sava. With easy access to central Zagreb as well as the surrounding areas, the complex has generated a significant contribution to the refinement and development of the neglected and undeveloped city area. Zagreb is not only the political and economic capital of the Republic of Croatia, but also a major transportation hub between Central Europe and the Adriatic Sea.
Arena Centar is the first commercial complex in Croatia and in Europe, equipped with advanced technologies for people with special needs – partly sighted or deaf people – that includes acoustic signalization in elevators, informational brochures with relief layouts accessible at specialized informational stands, checkpoints, line guides on the floor to ease the motion of partly sighted people, and more.
UM’s new contract with Arena Centar will extend through 2015.
In addition to their Arena Centar win, UM Croatia also signed Continental AG, a worldwide company with sales of €30.5 billion.
Continental is among the leading automotive suppliers worldwide and ranks as the world’s fourth largest tire manufacturer. As a supplier of brake systems, systems and components for powertrains and chassis, instrumentation, infotainment solutions, vehicle electronics, tires and technical elastomers, Continental contributes to enhanced driving safety and global climate protection, employing approximately 167,000 individuals in 46 countries. UM Croatia will be handling media services for Continental’s car tire division.
To round out a busy month, UM Croatia also scored wins with BMW Tomic & Co. and Ecco SKA footwear.
